The final blasting works at the Kaskia wellbeing block will take place during week 20.
Preparatory work will be carried out on Wednesday, 13 May. If the work proceeds according to plan, the final blasting will take place on Friday, 15 May. Monday, 18 May has also been reserved as a backup date if needed.
The blasting works will be carried out in the inner courtyard area facing Kaskisgatan.
Before each blast, a warning signal with several short sound signals will be heard. The blasting operations are brief and supervised by experts. Vibrations are continuously monitored and recorded during the work.
After the blasting works, rock material will be transported away from the site. This phase of the work may also cause temporary noise and increased traffic around the construction area.
